IQM Studio Power up

The IQM Studio Power Up is a collaborative effort designed to transfer knowledge and capability over several weeks. The Critical Logic Solutions Architect will work in an embedded manner with a customer representative to complete a small work sample that will use IQM Modeling and surrounding MBT processes along with IQM Scripting and the associated keyword-based automation process. 

Customer needs assessment and sample selection

  • Review customer pain points, priorities, and testing challenges
  • Identify sample system/functional area to target IQM Studio Power Up
  • Identify customer team for Power Up

Activities

  • Inventory sample system definition documentation
  • Define Scope of IQM Studio Power Up
  • Work with SME to transfer knowledge needed to stand up customer MBT capabilities
  • Walk-through of existing automation and testing systems and existing tests/scripts
  • Explore and define area of tested system best suited for IQM Studio Power Up
  • Create IQM framework: Object repository and Keyword actions
  • Create new or existing tests into IQM keyword scripted tests
  • Define Success Validation Criteria

Value Deliverables

  • Stood-up (customer) capabilities:
  • Develop and maintain models and Keyword automation tests
  • Additional development and maintenance of IQM Scripting framework
  • IQM database with models, tests, keywords, and scripts
  • Defect Prevention/Defect Detection
  • Traceability

Time & Resources

  • Pre-site visit consultation
  • 2 days onsite
  • Intense remote collaboration (2-3 weeks)
  • Periodic check points with mentoring and work review (2-3 weeks)
  • Results analysis, recommendations, and planning
  • Ongoing support and mentoring

 Post-Power Up, the customer will have continued access to a Critical Logic Solutions Architect that will mentor and assist in the full-scale implementations ahead.

Client Responsibilities

  • Designated Client IQM Modeler and MBT Analyst
  • Access to SME(s), existing tests/scripts, and test environment(s)
  • Access to targeted system(s) and/or system definition documentation

Dependencies

  • Availability of client resources
  • Remote access to client systems as needed
