All Action Type – Actions for every object type

Sometimes in a framework, there is the same action in every action type. Take a ‘Verify Exists’ action for example. Every object type (i.e. Button, Checkbox, Textbox, etc.) might have a ‘Verify Exists’ action. Very likely these actions would be identical in each of the different types.

In TMX Actions, there is an ‘All’ Action Type that can be created to hold actions which are available to all types. By putting an action in the ‘All’ type, it will be available as an action for every defined object type in TMX Actions. This will provide a single place to manage the action that works for all types, instead of creating the same action in each type.

Now, when you build tests, for any type of object you select, you will see the actions defined in the ‘All’ Action Type in addition to the type-specific actions in TMX Actions.
